So I don’t know if any of you know this, but lately it hasn’t been raining it lately and we are in a bad drought. This concerns me a little bit though… Well a lot. It rained very lightly today and yesterday, but I don’t think it rained at our catchment areas. If it did proably didn’t make a huge impact.I want it to rain. You know, like pour. I want to have a thunderstorm, a huge one. So bad that it floods. Not this weak rain showers have now. I want it to come down in buckets! Also the designs of our damns do not help. The government designs them with a large surface area, while it it is shallow. So evaporation can take place easily, and sand can also blow into the water causing it to be muddy, and disgusting We should be building deeper damns with a smaller surface area. I learn’t these interesting facts in our Geography class. I also watched the weather last night and the night before. It seems that around South Africa it is raining. Like storming. Why not here? There are storms in towns next to us. But we don’t have any storms. So hopefully the weather will be good. The next time it storms, I am going to stand in the rain, without an umbrella… Embracing it
